Ventana is a general contractor and construction manager that has been operating in British Columbia since 1987; our corporate roots date back to 1953. We have a proven track record of delivering custom commercial buildings and providing comprehensive construction services that meet the highly specialized needs of our clients.
Ventana’s foremost priority is providing the best service possible for each of our clients, from the initial consultation all the way through to occupancy. As far as we're concerned, taking care of our clients throughout the project is just as important as delivering their building on time and on budget.
We also put a premium on pre-construction, which means that you have an accurate project budget, value engineering options during the design stage and a project that runs as smoothly as possible once construction begins.
Our relationship-based approach to construction, extensive pre-construction work on every project and an enduring commitment to delivering the best building possible are what set Ventana apart. They’re also what have allowed us to develop long-standing partnerships with many of our clients – more than two-thirds of our regular business is from repeat customers.
The Ventana team
The Ventana team is made up of more than 90 people, divided almost evenly between our head office and various construction sites. We employ a collaborative, team-based approach for each construction project we take on, regardless of the size of job. This approach allows us to tap into the wealth of technical knowledge and real-world experience here at Ventana, and it helps us deliver the highest quality services and buildings for our customers.
Each team member for a project is involved from the start, so they have a good idea of the overall project plan and objective. We’ve found that this approach ensures continuity and consistency, makes it possible to address potential issues quickly or avoid them entirely and make the most of scheduling and cost-savings opportunities.
Our team philosophy also carries over to green building initiatives. Ventana’s LEED Accredited Professionals and Green Associates are involved in all aspects of green building projects. This ensures that these projects move through the critical phases of design and development smoothly and efficiently, and the certification process is correctly executed.
Awards
